Yeah, those massive project videos are really hard to do, especially on the platform of youtube. And I bet you've also found out how if you try to film something as you build it, it takes at least 3x as long.

Casey, I hope you get to read this. You have inspired me. I'm 16 and I've always been into cars. I love 50's-60's race cars like the Jaguar D-type or Lola T70. They're my dream cars and I've always wanted to have something like that. I figured I would never get anything like that because they're all 10 million+. I thought about building them, but figured I don't know enough/too much time, skill, and money. It wasn't until I found video series's like this, build creator, and macromachines. Since then I bought a cheap computer, downloaded fusion 360, and have been designing my dream cars. You inspired me and probably countless other young people to follow their dreams. Thank you Casey.

Casey,
We also really appreciate the fact that you take time to read and reply to our comments...My son really wants to be an engineer of some sort... At this point he is leaning towards designing/building rollercoasters and can already build them via the CAD software that these companies actually use to design/build/test them virtually... At age 9!!! But his second love is what he refers to as "Race Cars", essentially anything sporty with a V8 or bigger. He is learning tons from you on this channel about what a real car is as well as what a REAL owner/driver is. Thank you for inspiring him along with all the others from the next generation. Unfortunately I didn't have a dad who knew cars nor was YouTube a thing back when I was a teen. I learned by trial and error and this held me back. Society needs more people like you/your program taking the time to teach/inspire these kids. Especially as schools are now losing so much money in funding and cutting off shop, automotive, music, and art classes left and right. Thank you again Casey and we wish you and your family a happy and healthy Holiday season

They are going to be even madder when you keep telling those high$ idiots ‘no you can’t buy it!’

I grew up in a time where half of the kids were building hot rods in their dad's garage. I love the cool supercars but what is really super cool is guys like Jim Hall building outrageous cool cars that really run and race. God bless the hot rodders.

Filming what your doing adds such a level of additional complexity. That’s why when channels blow up, they hire shooters and editors. Keep up the good work, Casey. Also, Avalon King really works amazingly well. I got some a bit ago when you mentioned that they had a sale. I got it for my dad’s birthday too. We both put it on our trucks a month or two ago. It’s amazing. Now when it rains my truck actually gets cleaner. It’s insane. Spray off the dirt and it’s clean again. There’s a bit of effort in getting your vehicle clean enough to apply it, but wow is it worth it.

couldn't agree more. Keep believing in your dream! I cannot wait to see it on the road (and hopefully in real life)!

I think a car like this speaks for itself, Casey. . . I live about fifteen minutes away from The Guild of Automotive Restorers (the guys who built the Bugatti Aerolithe.) At least once a week I pass by their location and see the Aerolithe in their front window, and you can't help but be taken aback by it; it's art on wheels. There's a million valid reasons to build a one-of-one car, if you have the talent and determination. I doubt anyone ever looks at that car and thinks, "Why would someone bother building something like this? It must of taken so much effort."

I have no doubt that by the end of this, you'll have an automotive work of art you can be proud of. And good art is its own justification, and its own reward.

So right about modern supercar 'culture'. It's even forced its way into mass-market cars, starting with the Golf GTi ('Rabbit' in the US), the car that tried to convince you that it was imbued with the spirit of Aston Martin, Ferrari, and Maserati, but was actually a puffed-out - albeit, Italian styled - supermarket trolley. Just by stealing a few letters of nomenclature.

This guy is honestly quite inspiring. I love what he’s doing here, and I can really relate to what he’s doing here. He’s inspiring me to think of crazy out there ideas, while I can’t build my own supercar (yet) being my age, I’m probably going to start learning how to build this stuff. Wether it be off of the supercharged go kart that I’m starting to work on, or when I buy my 350Z working on that or working with my dad on his motorcycle ect. And Casey if some how you see this, I just want to say thank you for inspiring young people like me to go out there and just try to do things like this, and think outside of the box.

Big fan of what you're doing! I am also a HUGE fan of Italian automotive design, esp that era. Love the Zero, the Alfa Carabo, the Countach!! I've owned tons of Italian cars myself. God bless you!!!

Thanks to Casey, for being the inspiring master-mind, that you simply are! Edgy, blunt, without compromise. A real genius and artist.

I totally understand the Burnout feeling, I was experiencing it the last few months on my "Ford" Fiero project and am just starting to slowly get back into things again.
Keep up the amazing work Casey, its certainly inspiring me to keep pushing on my project!

I like what you say about looking to the past. Reflecting on past design for inspiration while incorporating current technologies is the way interesting and groundbreaking design evolves. I've spent the last 45 minutes trying to expand on this thought and gone down too many rabbit holes, but I see (at least) a couple of important thoughts from you: 1) There's nothing wrong with honoring the past, as long as you're honest and acknowledge the roots. 2) Art and artistic values are important. Art and aesthetics is what make ideas desirable and more than functional.

Keep up the great work, we all get burned out sometimes especially when it's something you are passionate about. Can't wait to see it, hopefully in person someday. I know my 9yr son is also psyched so you are inspiring even very young kids!!!
