I've been playing ark for 5years iv never had a pvp encounter just grind, build, get offlined raided, repeat.

Back in the REAL ol days it was a high melee and hp with a sword killing groups of people not every one rping as Sonic the hedgehog with a Glock 40 and bolas

I miss the pre teck days mortar and pestle was the only way to get cementing paste. the good old days of balance.

Give me pre extinction ark any day. Maybe with a couple of items/dinos they've added that weren't broken but over all every update after ab just broke the game more and more. And genesis was the nail in the coffin.

Me and my friends (over 10 of us) hosted a nitrado with just us and we had only island and cave building wasn’t allowed, no offlining and the rules were obviously followed because we were all friends and it was very very limited tek. No nets, no tek suits, rifles, etc and no broken Dino’s. It was very refreshing and felt like a dinosaur game again. I’d recommend everyone trying that.

It’s honestly so draining and boring. The devs clearly never pvp. Foot pvp was so fun in this game. Back in early ark people were asking to nerf bola because being restricted for 30 seconds is mad dumb then they made nets… clearly do not care about the state of the pvp community
