I tried out a hogue trauma with the sheep's foot blade awhile back although it was a very nice knife hogues version of an axis lock kinda blows at least on mine it did they use an incredibly strong spring and the texturing on the lock makes it very uncomfortable opening and closing the blade using the lock so I sent mine back
