Selena Gomez Debuts NEW Puma Collab & Donates Profits To THIS Cause

Selena Gomez has always been a style icon. When she was on Wizards of Waverly Place everyone attempted to copy Alex’s tomboy-chic look and when we saw Selena wearing red tinted shades, we bought red tinted shades.

Over the years, Selena’s style has evolved and she continues to inspire our own fashion choices. Recently Sel has taken on a new role in the fashion industry as a designer.

First she released handbags with COACH that are absolutely stunning, and now she’s trying her hand at sneaker design. Selena revealed her first collaboration as brand ambassador for Puma and spoiler alert, it’s amazing.

The Phenom Lux is a sleek all-white sneaker that comes with gold accents and a removable gold anklet chain. You’ve probably already seen Selena sporting the shoes because she has been wearing them non-stop which proves they’re just as comfortable as they look.

In an interview with VOGUE, Selena revealed that she thinks the sneakers are best worn with fun socks, especially Puma’s new sheer windowpane socks that Selena also helped design. Selena said QUOTE “I’ve been wearing some fun socks with my sneakers, and it just makes me feel a little bit more feminine. I spent a lot of time creating a sock that felt comfortable, chic, and fun.”

As much as we love the sneakers, we think our favorite part about this collaboration is that Puma has pledged to donate up to $100,000 from sales of the shoe to the Lupus Research Alliance, how cool is that?

Selena suffers from Lupus and the condition is what caused her to gave an organ transplant over the summer. She has always been open about th disease raising awareness and support, and we’re sure Puma’s generosity means the world to her.
