What does a honeybee see on her foraging flights?

This video shows a reconstruction of the visual perception of a flying honeybee along a flight path that was recorded previously with harmonic radar (courtesy of Randolf Menzel). We used drone photogrammetry to obtain a 3D model of the environment and a model of the bee eye to create a realistic reconstruction of what a bee sees on her journey.
