Yay! Another morning yin class to add to my rotation. Thank you!! This was lovely, as always. For over 2 years i have practiced yin every single morning, most often with you. What a difference!! My arthritic body feels 100x better after class, and I am able to successfully do my physically demanding hospital job. Thank you thank you thank you for being part of that ❤

Someone mentioned above, wanting longer videos and possibly offering a paid subscription for those of us interested. I would absolutely pay for your classes. Would totally do an hour on my days off, but these 30 to 40 minute a.m. classes are perfect for work days. If i need more, i do 2!

So glad noone can hear me during the hip stretches the left side was more tight than the right😅. The benefit is worth it . I can feel the difference now. Time to take this off the mat pushing myself even when I am uncomfortable. I will focus on these areas for this month Shaunneka 🙏🏾

Great practice, your stretches are a nice change comparing to most of the other YT yin teachers. I have gotten so used to these stretches that I have not felt this uncomfortable for a while. Thank you and I will be around here way more often now that I found you! Namaste 🌻🙏

Hi. I would like to say Thank you for always putting together great classes. I was diagnosed at the age of 30 with young onset, Parkinson’s disease. My wife came across your YouTube channel and loved your style of teaching. She told me I would like you. She was right! You are not out to prove anything. You don’t talk all through class your directions are great. Everything flows together. You also know when to release the back and when to stretch things out. I can’t say enough about your teaching style, expect for thank you for helping me. My dr’s tell me my body isn’t as stiff or aching as much as they thought it would be. I’m gaining more flexibility and I am moving better since I started taking your classes. I can’t speak for anyone else. But I really like how you use the bell during class. With other classes I would have to keep looking up at the tv to see if the instructor was transitioning to another position. I would lose my balance or somewhat come out of the position. With your class I know now once I get into position I can concentrate on breathing and my form because once I hear the bell I know we will be taking a few more breaths before we transition. This has been such a BIG help. I never thought at 30 as a man I would have PD and feel so awful. Until my wife found you. You have been a real big help to me. I try other people on YouTube but none of them are like you. As my wife says. Stay with who you like no need to find someone else. I also like how you don’t have us moving up and down really fast from the floor to standing. Everything is put together with thought and time. I have recommended your channel to my dr to give to other PD patients
I also gave out your channel at my group meetings for Parkinson’s. So many people have said they really enjoy your channel and you have been the best for them. Bet you never thought you would have a cult of Parkinson’s PT following you. lol 😂 for whatever it’s worth. Thank you for changing my life. Respectfully T

I adore your practice 💛 I find your sequencing of positions to be balanced, deep, grounding, and therapeutic. It feels as though you are trained in trauma informed somatic healing. Thank you 💛

Thank you 🙏🏼. My first class with you and I enjoyed the pace, your soft tone of voice, your choice for the music and after more than thirty years of yoga, I learned a new posture - wonderful! ❤

A soothing, full body opening sequence. It was over too quickly! The hip flexor & quad stretch / lying twist is brilliant. My first time practicing with you, thanks so much 🙏🏼🌺🕉

Another great video! Although I agree that being on my toes isn't easy at all for me. I'll definitely come back to this practice in the mornings. ❤

Hi Shaunneka! I love how your flows always bring something new to my practice. Thank you for keeping it fresh and interesting! I have a question about the foot-to-glute, Knee-to-chest stretch: when I entered the pose on the first side I didn’t feel the stretch in my hamstring or hip flexor, but rather a pull on what felt like a knot in my knee. I tried readjusting a few times with the same result. When I switched sides, I felt the stretch in the intended muscles. So my question is, should I remain in the pose to try to relax my knee, or should I address my knee before trying the pose again? Thanks so much for any input you may have, and thank you for yet another fantastic morning yin practice.
