What a great tutorial. I was not quite convinced to watch this one since I’m not that passionate about collage, youtube channel, etc type of content that much... but since it was you and I always everything MotionVFX then here I am.
To be honest, the biggest value for me is that it SO GREATLY modular, this is like mCompositing Tools the easy way with animation and all for FCPX... sometimes title templates have so much and I only want the ‘lens dirt’ of that one, or the ‘animated blurring background’ of another which translates to having to go through them and start disabling all the unneeded texts and features (if someone knows how to save title configuration presets like Effects and Texts Appearances allows I would like to know!)
I think there’s even a bigger potential idea here.
Was not getting mCollage, already bought it after watching this vid.

Looks good! I sometimes have problems with these drop zones in other motionvfx-plug-ins - videos are shown as stills. is this the same with mCollage?

When I watched this on a standard TV (without the fancy colors of a monitor) the background didn't show; it was just black. A different colour would have been better. Otherwise, great tutorial as usual.

OK just bought this, however it does NOT work as you say. You cannot simply drop a background onto the timeline, DR does not allow it. The only way I can get a background to be on the timeline is if I drop a FUSION COMPOSITION onto the timeline first, is this correct?

Just bought this plugin but its not allowing me to select a source clip for the drop zones?
