"evil should not be downplayed" *proceeds to downplay evil in the next sentence*

I don’t even get how “we” can remain “us” once in heaven. It seems to me, if there is such a thing, we cease to be who we are as soon as we get there. We become a new entity entirely. How can “I” be “me” in heaven if I no longer feel all the stuff I feel in this life, including the bad stuff.

His argument for the insignificance of evil also perfectly debunks eternal conscious torment as punishment for comparatively insignificant sins during one’s brief incarnation.

the problem of evil isn't a 'strong' argument, it is simply one of the arguments that adds to the pile of arguments against theism.

The "god allows us to be evil so that he can help us not be so" argument makes god sound like a firefighting arsonist, who burns down a building so that he can save the people trapped inside.

“Hey guys I fixed the problem of free will attached to the problem of evil!”

*makes the problem of divine hiddenness far, far worse*

The justification for “no evil in heaven because we learned our lesson (that sin sucks) on earth” falls apart when we consider the billions who have died as babies/infants; THEY didn’t “learn their lesson on earth”!

Middle knowledge is useful if God doesn't know what circumstances anyone would be in. But from the perspective of an all-knowing entity, there cannot be branches.

How does an infinitesimally small amount of evil, then, lead to a great enough amount of wrongdoing to justify eternal suffering in hell?

Why is the divine command theory such a robust theory regarding problematic Bible stories, and deemed so irrelevant when discussing divine justice? God commands genocide and it is ipso facto okay, but he is bound by the moral demands of justice when deciding heaven or hell.

FIRST AND FOREMOST prove your god, then prove your heaven, than we might have an honest, adult conversation

Heaven is the home of an all powerful, all knowing god that assigns and revokes free will.
When you arrive you will be ordered to ceaselessly praise and worship "Him" until he says otherwise.

I prefer the Aron Ra approach.. It's all mythology, prove it isnt

Seeing as how 'all knowing' God's plans have failed at every turn, why would anyone think that the 'new heaven' wouldn't be a failure as well?

You read my mind here. Truly baffling that God can somehow guarantee that a person (who is supposedly non-deterministic, per Christianity's "free will" model) will not sin in actual eternity following a finite period—which, by the way, all those who die in early childhood, and especially as blastocysts and fetuses, never had to endure.

I swear these apologists don't know what the term 'All Powerful' means

How can other christians have different answers? Don't they all use the same book? Why aren't they all on the same page? Attaining something like "eternal life" seems too important to be left up to personal interpretation.

It's so very obvious that all those internet apologists take the same apologetics classes. (Either online from Frank and William, or in an actual Masters or PhD programme in a Bible school. Yes, these schools offer PhD programmes in apologetics.)
