I stayed at the Hotel Claude Bernard at 43 rue des Ecoles in the 5th arrondissement. I loved every minute and it's where I will stay when I return. Paris, Je t'aime.

I agree with your selection I just got back from a three week vacation in June. I stayed in the LE Marais district in Paris. I felt very safe especially at night and I traveled solo I loved Paris but as in every big city like New York City etc you need to be aware where not to go . The Parisian people were very helpful and kind to me .All the taxi driver from Algeria were nothing but kind and honest .Taking the bus was fun & easy and a great way to see Paris that cost 2.50 euros .I never take the metro at night Too many sketchy people

I stayed in Place du Clichy. 2 minutes walk from a metro station, a supermarket, a bank and a bakery, restaurants and a market on some days. Highly recommend it if you are looking for value for money. Next to Montmartre without the price tag.

My new favorite neighborhood, after my last trip, was Vincennes. It's eastern suburb, so not in the heart of things, but right on the very fast and reliable metro line 1. The fascinating Chateau de Vincennes is right there, the Bois de Vincennes is interesting if you are a walker. Tons of very good local neighborhood restaurants and some really stunningly good bakeries. You'll be commuting to most of the major sights, but the metro makes it very easy.

I really enjoy your videos. I’ve watched a numbers of other YouTube Paris channels and yours is the best by far. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and insight of your beautiful city

This was presented so well. It was visually stunning and calming to watch. The information was organized and easy to follow. You combined attractions, transportation and places to eat nicely. You also put the proximity of the major attractions in context and introduced me to a couple of new ones. Thank you. I have stayed in Montparnasse, the 8th arrondissment and Montmartre. As I am staying for a month this time, I wanted an area that was more residential. I will be staying in Passy(16th). There are excellent views of the Eiffel Tower from so many streets. Your content is always great! You are also helping me with my French. I pay close attention to your pronunciation. Thank you!

Great pointers! We’ve stayed in the Latin Quarter and loved the choice of eateries. Also stayed in an Airbnb in Le Marais, easy walk to many attractions and the river. Tried to stay in different areas on each visit of my 5 visits from 🇦🇺. Your visuals are enticing. Thx.

We like the 14th, mostly due to a singular lack of tourists and easy access to the Metro. There are not as many restaurants or cafe's as other districts, but more than enough good ones to satisfy all but the most demanding of visitors. Did I say there were very few tourists. Rue Daguerre shopping district recommended, as is the twice weekly local market. Also, the catacombs are nearby, although almost always crowded with [you guessed it] tourists.

The 12th and 15th are my favorite neighborhoods in Paris

The two best sunsets are either from Bercy or parc Citroen

This is one of the best reviews of some great neighborhoods and, rather than parrot the many worthless claimants to being knowledgeable and their boring and ordinary guidebooks, this commentator points out some of the best of authentic Paris and things actually worth seeing, not content to just give the well-known highlights. Nevertheless, there is much more to see and do and he has merely touched upon them. I would like him to do a review of the best of the small museums of Paris.

I stayed near the Pantheon...nice...then on Avenue Champs Elysees...nice too, and a hotel named Paris J'adore in 17th...that was too good and close to markets. I think I took the best of Paris🗼🗼

Please add subtitles words in French for each item being discussed. That way we can visually better remember the Frence names. Thankyou.

Always worth considering a nice outer suburb. My first trip to Paris I stayed in Maisons Lafitte which is a very safe, attractive and affluent suburb yet only just of 20 minutes by RER from the bustling central area.
