It's sale time in Star Citizen, and many will look to Buyer's Guides for their next ship. But I don't intend to add buyer's guides to Star Citizen. If you want to know why, this one's for you.

What was your best purchase in the verse? What was your worst?

I absolutely love my Connie, but I found that the thing I got rid of fastest was my Aopoa Nox.

The connie is beautiful. Hard to justify on certain features, but beautiful. I'll probably end up with a Phoenix just so I have a connie in my fleet

I totally agree with you on this. All of the ships I own because I like them not because they are the “best in class” or some nonsense. And I agree it sucks having someone lay into your favorite ship because it’s turn rate is too slow or it’s potential DPS isn’t great. I love this game because all the ships are viable. you may have to fly it in a specific way to get the most out of it but all of them are totally useable

Really enjoy your decision of not making it.
If you want to get in ship review maybe it would be interesting to make a review of a ship you enjoy and telling us why you enjoy it so much, how you use it ...At least I would be interested, I always like watching ships review.

Great video as usual !

Know what you getting at, my avenger has been called ugly and useless forever by alot of people, but that is kinda changing now. Its the goto ship for me still, even after all those years. I also do like the connie, but man it needs some love, and i hope it gets it, i think it deserves it as well. Same with the star farer owners really. They need a lot of love on that ship as well. Hope they all get it. At least if you have the connie andro, you get this snub docking soon, hope you all enjoy it.

The Connie is super cool! I find myself poking around in one at every in-game convention. I must have Connie envy haha. I say stick with what you like! It's great when a ship really speaks to you, and it's not always the one you'd expect, is it? I thought the Cat was ugly as sin at first but boy, did it grow on me, to the point that I actually fought through Pirate Swarm to get to buy one myself when there wasn't a sale going on, and I totally love it. And I was super excited about the MSR but since it came out I've just been kinda so-so about it. I don't even know why. It's too clean or something haha. Anyway, just wanted to say you bring up a great point that "to each his own." And definitely don't let the DPS numbers-crunchers tell you otherwise.

I'm Chairman's Club deep, but I don't like buyers guides because I genuinely don't think most players should buy ships. $45 entry fee and you can experience the biggest and most exciting ships that other players have.

I hear you man... I skipped on the Connie when I first started playing this game, and got the MSR once it released "up from the cutty black". Don't get me wrong, the MSR will definitely have it's place. But right here, right now... it feels next to useless. Especially with the trade issues.. I ended up getting a Connie a few days ago, and I've enjoyed every second spent in it.

There's a kind of metronomic back and forth among the theory crafters of SC. In reality the information is more fluid than the the role we play in it and with it. At least while we're in these doldrums of what the game may be.

A great way to remove a player from their own self doubt, kinda.

Star Citizen is a game in flux. It has changed from it's original intent as an upgraded version of "Wing Commander, " to what it is now, and will probably go through several more evolutions before it's ultimate release. Choose your ship, or ships, on their role and your personal style of gameplay, not numbers which are surely going to change.
