I live in Utah and i stopped at Maverick to get gas. I’ll never forget that day. I went to get out of my car to walk in and prepay for gas. I had not a clue who he even was. He walked over to the pump and put his card in and said, let me get this for you today. I was only going to put ten dollars in. He filled my truck. I kept saying you don’t have to do this really I’m good. He just said he wanted too. Other cars pulled in and my truck was surrounded by people asking him to sign his autograph. I was so lost. I have kids his age and didn’t have a clue who he was. He told them after I get this done I’ll have time to do a few. Then he asked if I wanted him to sign anything first. I was a server so I took out my pad out of my pocket. Next day I took it to work and told the kids I worked with what happened and showed them my pad he signed. They all googled him and said this is who he is. He has a kind heart.
