btw, this video reminded me, thanks for the soldering video. Before this week, I hadn't done that in a long time, and your video reminded me basically how to do it, which came in use this week when I had to cut the 1/4 in. heads off some cables and replace them with XLRs to fit the new outports on some new Midas boards I just got at work. Job went entirely successful and the cables work perfectly.

Glenn please do a video on how to install analog equipment and route through your interface into your daw. I know there's other tutorials but I'd rather hear your input on it. For instance how do you route the 500 series lunchbox to your daw? I understand pre amps but what about compressors and eqs? hope you have to time to make one. Cheers from Texas! Like how the signal gets chained from piece of gear to piece of gear? Not really seen any clips on it, and although it seems simple enough, I'm not totally sure. Would love to see the backs of the units all connected up (like of the 500 series module here). Thinking of getting one together. Thanks! (P.S. Any 500 lunch box recommendations?)

Glenn, do you think you could do some kind of overview on the 500 series world? I do a bit of recording myself and the 500 series is a realm quite foreign to me. Do you have to use API brand products with the housing? How does the "lunchbox" hook up to your AD/DA interface? Can individual modules be run from one to another within the system (e.g. can you run an API preamp into an API compressor)? I don't know about other viewers, but getting to see how studio equipment works and is routed is very interesting to me, especially considering you've got some cool gear that's still out a simple home setup's price range. Anyway, love your how to's!

I like these kinds of videos. Get to see a hands on look, and hear a badass example. You should do more things like this. What I'd like, as I'm sure a lot of people would like, would be some kind of mixing examples. Either you record your screen or have a camera set up. It would be cool to see what you do to mix the guitar. I'm sure it's different every time, but would be awesome to see what some of your go-to things might be. IF you even have to do anything, I don't know much about recording. For example, have a guitar riff recorded, show what it sounds like without any post, then start doing things to it, and explain why you're doing them. Then show the final. If you have the backing music, show what the guitar sounds like before and after WITH the music as well. Shit, you could do this with many instruments.
