I really wish they would've continued the story in the same universe as Emmett's instead of making a whole new universe.

It’s probably not possible but I can only dream that the Thousand Brick Race or whatever it was called might get made, it seemed like an incredibly interesting premise and also Jorge Gutierrez who did El Tigre and Book of Life was gonna direct it and he had some designs and settings made but I think that’s about as far as they got. Once again not possible but could be cool

I think if the movie does happen, it might just be a first trial for LEGO and Universal that goes straight to streaming or DVD.

I think the idea of a real life human turning into a lego minifigure of themselves is a great idea. Also in this lego movie we might see some classic like Laval from Chima

Have you checked to see if "LEGO MOVIE 3" has been Trademarked by LEGO? - Thats usually the easiest way to see if something might be in development or not

Honestly, I'm not excited either
For starters I don't think we need any more lego movies, 4 were just right and if you do something too much it's not special anymore
this one seems to be taking elements from previous lego movies and not adding anything original or new
HOWEVER
I am sure we'll get some sick lego sets from this and that I'm excited for

I’m stoked for new sets!! Apocalypseberg, Jokermanor, and Ninjago City are some of the best sets ever produced.

To be honest, I'm not taking this movie announcement as definite yet. It might happen, but the idea does feel kinda generic, and I don't think it is as original as the Emmet saga.
