I did this with an LED bar graph version of the EMF meter. I'm not sure how you did yours but mine doesn't have any LEDs in the wings. There wasn't enough power from the 9 volt battery to run the five LEDs for the Meter and the fourteen LEDs of the wings. I can raise and lower them though with a forward and reverse switch setup.

you can make a simple emf detector using an arduino circuit, which should fit pretty easily. you could run an antenna wire thru the arms. the trick would be the sound effects.

What EMF are you using? Is it a CellSensor?
