My favourite 2 player games are Sail (~20 min, cooperative trick taking) and Imperial Struggle (3 hours, intense struggle over military, economic and diplomatic theatres)

Our go-to 2 player games this year were - Obelus, Yokai Septet (2 player mode is awesome), Bloody Inn, Lorcana, and Paint the Roses.

Star Wars Unlimited is excellent! Brought me back into TCGs. Give the multiplayer format Twin Suns a try, it's a blast!

I had to go back and watch the wrap of the king of Tokyo duel video again because I thought that one flopped for everyone, and I was feeling a little loss of trust over this video if they were scrapping so low in the barrel to list one everyone disliked, but I Camila did give it a 7.5 so she did like it.

Didn't several people from the Dice tower, including Tom, say they didn't enjoy King of Tokyo duel at all? and that they would rather play OG King of Tokyo with 2 players then the duel version?

I hope people do their research on some of these… blanket recommending a CCG on a holiday list feels off.

Great for those who enjoy them, but I’d hate if someone tried getting me hooked on one, ha.

I would argue boop Christmas edition is the worst version. Check out the original boop if you want better game vs holiday flavor

What I get from this list is that it apparently wasnt a very good year for 2 player games.
