How To Use Instagram's 'Close Friends' Feature - Share Stories with Favorite people

Instagram's latest update is the "Close Friends" option, allowing you to share Instagram stories privately to your selected group of friends or favorite people.

The option was rolled out worldwide on Instagram in Nov 2018.

Suppose I choose a close friend (say Richard), then will it disclose to Richard that he is added as 'close friend'. Or it will be a normal story from his point of view.?🤔
