‘ E/n… I’m trying to sleep… please stop.’ You mutter. ‘ Oh- I’m sorry Y/n… I didn’t mean to disturb you..’ he mumbles and he adjusts himself.

Guilt stabs you in the heart. You turn over to see his face drained of colour his skin a pale tone, his features more delicate and weak. ‘E/n .. I’m so sorry I-I didn’t mean to act cold, come here.’ You say as you open your arms. ‘ Thank you Y/n sorry for being a hassle.’ He whispers. ‘Don’t worry but it’s only for tonight, tomorrow we got back to hating each other.’ You reply.

‘Oh- yeah for sure.’ E/n mutters. He doesn’t sound confident in that answer at all. ‘Why do we have to hate each other Y/n’ he mumbles under his breath as he slowly shuts his eyes his features softened by sleep.

You blush in silence, ‘ if only..’ you hesitate from finishing your sentence.

‘ If only we didn’t hate each other…’ you whisper as you shut your eyes.

Ik I’m a bit late to this but I see no part 2 so imma make one

You turn over facing h/n “are you really that scared you asked?” He nods closing his eyes tightly and holding onto you tighter “Alr Alr”you say and you hold him closer and he smiles a small grin still scared with his eyes closed and you both fall back asleep in the morning he isn’t in your tent/cabin so you get up and go outside to see h/n with all his friends and you walk over to your group of friends f/n asks “how was your night with h/n?” You look over to him and decide not to tell them what happened “nothing really we both just fell asleep” you say f/n says “oh Alr” and countines talking to your other friends

E/n smiles at you then goes back to talking to his friends, you smile back at him and walk over to your own friends

E/N says “my eyes are up here sweetie”and he chuckles to himself you grab your swimsuit and walk to the bathroom rolling your eyes
you get changed and walk out of the bathroom going outside and you walk with your friends to the lake
T/N “ok everyone be carful and if you don’t want to get in the water that’s fine but everyone please make sure you drink enough water!” you all run into the lake and start a game of marco polo
you get chosen to be marco and you go around saying “marco “ and everyone says “polo!”
you finally touch someone you think it’s one of your friends but when you open your eyes you see E/N smiling down at you and you see where your hand is.
you say “oh i’m sorry”while you take your hand off his chest
E/N laughs and everyone says your face gets red and hot and you run out of the water to the towel you had placed on the beach and as you sit down you put your hands up to your face and laugh to yourself
then you feel someone’s large and veiny hands pull your hands down and when you look it’s E/N and his face is so close to you you can feel his breath on your upper lip
you blush like crazy

after you and him finish you pull the blanket over yourself and check your phone.it’s been going off since you two started and you open instagram seeing on all your friends story tagging you in a picture of E/N carry you still kissing you to your cabin.you check your texts and all your freinds are asking how was it and you smile to yourself rembering how good it was “you ok?”E/N says and you nod and kiss him again as you bring your leg over him and sit on his lap and he laughs.”what’s so funny”you say to him “i thought you were a quiet shy girl but your not shy at all”E/N says and you roll your eyes as you get up to go change into shorts and a tank top.as you come out of the bathroom you see that E/N is all changed and is heading out the door.you run up to him and he holds your hand as you both walk to the rec room where everyone is waiting for dinner to be served.all your friends run up to you and him and pull you away from him.”omg remember
HE/N”(his exs name)”yea?”you say a little annoyed as they bring her up.”she was so annoyed after she saw him carry you to your cabin/tent and threw a hissy fit and slammed her cabin door”as you laugh you look of er at HE/N and she glared at you from across the room.

HE/N walks over to you “ you know me and H/N are still together?” and you look at her and start laughing “are you sure H/N knows that??” H/N says “well i didn’t know me and HE/N was still together because if i remember correctly YOU broke up with me because you found someone better?” he says staring to walk over to you “and if i’m not mistaken you were his side piece and you tried getting back with me?” and then he kissed you infront of everyone “this is my gf now so piss off” and HE/N walked away and slammed the rex room door.

Part 2:
I turned around, irritated, and hugged him back. "Better?" I asked. He nooded, smiling childishly. "Now go to sleep." I woke up to veiny, muscular hands wrapped around me. "E/n." I mumbled half asleep. "Get off me."Please, stay." he said. I smiled and drifted back to sleep. I woke and sat up on the mattress. "Have some breakfast, darling." e/n said. He was wearing a tight t-shirt, showing his body. I took a while staring at him up and down. He smirked. "Like what you see, huh?" he teased. I blushed and looked down at my food. "Atleast I'm not afraid of something eating me in my sleep." He turned the same shade of red as me, and we ate our breakfast in silence. As I started to walk out of the tent, e/n grabbed my wrist. "You're not gonna tell anyone, right?" he said. Aww, look who's embarrassed now. Really, the more time I spent near him, I realized that for all his toughness, he was just a big teddy bear. I walked closer to him. Placing my hand on his chest, I whispered into his ear, "As long as I'm getting hugs every can be our little secret." He blushed even more visibly than before. I smirked. He pulled me closer, hugging my waist. "Like this?" he said. "Yes." I said, leaning in to his touch. The coach took attendance as usual while I held e/n's hand. "...and remember to stay with your partners." he rambled on. "That won't be a problem." we said at the same time. We trekked up a very steep mountain. I suddenly tripped on a branch and fell off the side, managing to grab on to a branch before I plummeted to my death. "Y/N!" E/n shouted, grabbing hold of my hand. I started slipping off tge edge. "E/N! Help me!" I screamed trying to hang on. I desperately tried to hold on to the ledge. E/n gripped both my hands in his and pulled me up, scraping both my knees in the process. He hugged me tightly, both of us panting, sitting on the ground. He broke off the hug and cupped my face in his hands. "Are you okay?" he asked, as I watched tears slowly make their way down his face. I wiped his face with my scratched up hands. "I'm fine, e/n. Just a little knee scrape." I said, showing him my knees. He still didn't loosen his hold on me, hugging me again. "You could've died." he said, his voice shaking. "And you could have let me. Why didn't you?" I asked. He was my enemy, after all, or had been. "Wtf does that mean?" he said. "I mean, you've practically been a bully to me my whole life. Why stop now?" I said, as if I was just curious. I didn't want to hurt his feelings. "Darling, no. I just wanted to find an excuse to talk to you. I-i am not very good around p-people." he said. He picked me up and propped me up against a tree."Ahh! It hurts." I said as he gently cleaned up my wounds. "Just a little longer, darling." he said. After a while, we finally caught up with our group. "Where have you been?" my bestie said excitedly. I smirked, "Hugging e/n." "I knew he liked you!" she said, jumping up and down."Alright, the next step is to separate and look for some oyster mushrooms and please stay with your parteners." the coach said. We went in search of the mushrooms. E/n holding on to my hand, due to my knee injuries. "Be careful, darling." he said for millionth time. "I'm fine e/n." I said in an exasperated tone. He smirked. "I knew that already." My cheeks heated as I realized what he meant. I tripped on a rock and fell into e/n's arms, being completely supported by him. "Yeah, you're not walking now." he said, picking me up in his arms. "Put me down, e/n!" I said. "Nope. No more hurting yourself." he said. It actually felt quite nice. I let him carry me to a bunch of mushrooms. He put me down gently. I stumbled a little, feeling dizzy. "E/n.." I mumbled. He immediately pulled me in his arms. "Are you ok?" he asked, looking worried. "My head hurts." I replied. Then, I fell to my knees. "Y/N!" he shouted, panic clear in his voice. "Fck! Mountain sickness." he said. We'd learnt about it a week before camp. "We need to get you to a lower altitude." he said, picking me up once again. My muscles had started to ache. "Wait." I said, "Take the mushrooms." "Fck the mushrooms." he said. After a while at a lower place, and downing a whole bottle of water, I started to feel better. "I'm sorry." I said. "Don't be. How're you feeling?" he said, staring at me worryingly. "Stop looking at me like I have five bullets sticking out of me." I said. "I'm just worried." he said. This man gave me butterflies. I stood up once again with lifted spirits. "Now let's go find the damn mushrooms." I said.

Time skip

After filling up our basket to the brim, we returned to our team. "E/n and y/n, you're late.", the coach said sternly. "Sorry, coach." we said together, and went to join our group. That night, a beetle somehow managed to crawl into our tent. "AHHH" e/n screamed, getting behind me and hugging my waist. I gently grabbed it and put it outside, zipping up our tent. When I looked back, e/n was shaking badly, tears starting to form in his eyes. I walked over to him and took his hands in mine. "It's fine. It's gone." I said, pulling him closer. He nodded unable to say anything. "Do you want to talk about it?" I asked. "Couple years ago, my stepmom got fed up of me and left me in the woods. I was four at that time. That night all I heard was the sound of insects, starved and scared." He closed his eyes, now panting. "It's fine. You don't have to go on." I said, kissing his forehead. He was shaking pretty badly now. "No, I want to. For the next couple of days, I stayed in one place, hearing the howling of animals, waiting for one of them to come and end me." His breathing was erratic now. "Shhh. We should go to sleep now." I said. E/n was pretty shaken. Having dealt with childhood trauma myself, I knew it shouldn't be rushed. He nodded gratefully. I held him tightly in my arms as we went to sleep. When I woke up, e/n's and my face were inches apart. He slowly came to consciousness as I stared at him. How had I come to love him after hating him for half my life? "Have you been staring at me all night?" He asked in cute, sleepy voice. I kissed his forehead. "No, I have better things to do." I teased. "Thank you, y/n." he said, pulling me even closer, our noses almost touching. "We can continue this after we brush our teeth okay?" I smiled. Gosh, I loved seeing him blush.

Time skip.

He walked back in our tent as I packed my things up. Oh was shirtless. He pulled me closer once more. This time.... I kissed him. It felt wonderful, better than anything I had ever felt, but eventually, we had to break apart. He looked at me in a daze, holding my waist. "Ummm....are you guys done? " b/n's voice said from behind. He immediately let go off me as we both turned matching shades of pink. "We'll be out in just a second. " I said and immediately pulled the zip. Today was the last day of our camp.

Time skip
B/n, e/n and I got a seat together on the bus. We were enjoying ourselves, telling about our own experiences of the trip. E/n got a bit embarrassed when I was telling her how he was protective of me. Suddenly, the bus swerved, sending us all flying. Oh noo...it had caught fire. I ran to the emergency exit, wrenching it open. Everybody around me was panicking, rushing to get out. "Y/n, get out!" e/n said, as he rushed out the door. "I'll be out after everyone." I screamed over the crowd. As eventually the crowd thinned, I started feeling lightheaded from the smoke. I fell to the ground, unable to think straight. Black spots appeared in my vision, my eyes starting to form tears. "I'm going to die here." I thought to myself. When suddenly strong arms wrapped around me. "You're not giving up on me today, darling." e/n said. I felt safe in his arms once again. I faintly heard b/n's voice telling him to rush. The moment we were out, the bus exploded behind us, throwing us off balance. E/n gently laid me down on the ground, fresh air filling my lungs once more. "You're gonna be okay, y/n." b/n said, in a soothing voice. How she could stay calm in this situation was beyond me. I could feel e/n's shaky hand holding mine. "Deep breathe in. Deep breath out. Deep breathe in. Deep breathe out." I followed the rhythm of her voice, doing as she instructed. My classmates all gathered around us. After a while, I was finally able to sit up, strength returning to me once more. E/n and b/n both hugged me at the same time. "You're a hero, y/n." he said, cupping my face in his hands. "You're MY hero." "You're the one who saved me." I said. Our entire class cheered us on. "Thrice." I reminded him. "Enough romance. I love you, bestie!" b/n said, hugging me once more. "Yeah, yeah. Love you too." I said, rolling my eyes at her and smiling. "I love you, y/n." he whispered in my ear. Someone jealous? "I love you too, stink of jealousy though." I said, chuckling.Everything and everyone I loved was fine. That was enough for me.
