S-turn exercise, with bonus chapter on jibes! Balancing wing and foil part 2.

If you can successfully launch onto the foil and wing in a straight line, you have actually found one or more ways to steer, at least enough to correct accidental course changes. Congratulations! The next logical step is to learn how to jibe on the foil. Lots of people at that stage hear about doing S-turns. How you do them matters!
This video will explain the method that works best in jibes. Then you can combine it with the glide and speed control exercises I’ve described in previous videos, (links below and at end of the video) to practice all the skills you need.
As always, if you have not already, I recommend you watch and at least get started adopting the posture and control techniques I teach all my students, as described in a previously released video. The instructions in all my videos work best in that context.
