HI i need to delete two same names, i use duplicate , but it remove only one name, i need to remove both names . Example ( boby, steve, jeff, steve, evan, eric ) need to delete both steve names . any formula please.

Hello. I am a bit stuck. Can somebody help, please. Here is the situation: In an Excel document. I have a column that contains names. I need to put in a new column all the names that are mentioned once; and on another column all the names that are mentioned twice; this up to 5 times.

Hi Matt,  Do you know how you can count how many time several different things occur? So if in one cell I want, say the total times Binder, Pencil and Pen occur in one column?  My actual problem is I am using ordinals, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th & 10th. I want a total of how many times a person has finished 5th-10th. Here is the formula I've used successfully to total the number of times a person finished 1st; =COUNTIF(B7:B41, "1st").  I've got individual cells for when they finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th and I use the same formula, just change the "1st" to "2nd" etc. Now I want at total in one cell of the number of times they finished somewhere between 5th & 10th. Can you help me please?
