I took my very first visit to Hay-on-Wye, the UK's first book town and the host of the Hay Festival, a two week long literature festival.

How I review books (please note I review for me and in my own way, these are just my personal opinions and I know won't be in line with everyone else's all the time - I always encourage people to make their own judgements):
5 star ⭐️ Blew my MIND, AMAZING!
4 star ⭐️ I reaalllly loved it, but it wasn't quite mind blowing
3 star ⭐️ Liked it a lot, but it wasn't a special read for me
2 star ⭐️ I can see the merits, but it wasn't for me
1 star ⭐️ Nope. Just nope.

I'm so lucky to live fairly close to Hay and love it! It was so fun vlogging the festival again this year. So glad you had fun.

Hi Beth. Didn't you keep a copy of The Lost Storyteller in a pile on your coffee table??? I seem to recall it. It would have been in hardcover I think. I think I have this too on my shelves. Somewhere. Now I'm questioning my memory/sanity!!! How do you know when you've got too many books???!!!! I read the first two books in the Rivers of London series but got a bit tired of the main characters sarcastic, always looking on the dark side point of view and have not continued though I have two more in the series to read. So, do you have The Lost Storyteller????
