George Galloway has been a British politician and Member of Parliament all my life - he was MY MP when I was at school decades ago. He's not just some guy who won a special election. He is the equivalent of a US Senator or Congressman.

George Galloway has been a stalwart of British political life for over 40 years. Along with his contemporary Jeremy Corbyn, and a host of others many of whom sadly now deceased. He comes from a rich tradition of self educated, working class boys, whose politics is rooted in social justice, community, internationalism and left-wing intellectualism. Coming out of World War II, we use to produce characters like George Galloway at a dime a dozen here in the UK. So many great working class left wing orators emerged that it is hard to count them. All with the gift of the gab and eloquence of the language. He is a throwback to that immediate post war generation.

I suppose the doyen or the spiritual lighten rod, to many of Georges generation was the late Anthony Wegdgewood Ben [Tony Ben] a born aristocrat who renounced his high born peerage to sit as a commoner in the House of Commons as a ordinary Member of Paliament being of service to his constituent and who remained up until his death the intellectual heartbeat and soul of the left in our much diminished Island.

I used to watch RT. They have since removed it from Comcast.
They had great programming, great journalist. They did NOT support Trump. In fact a few endorsed Hillary. All the noise from Washington was BS.
