Can we make it a standard feature to be able to turn on subtitles for *only* the dialogue and not to have the [dramatic music plays] text pop up on screen? Aka select between subtitles for the hearing impaired VS subtitles for people who wish they could hear dialogue a little better

No, Caleb, you are not alone in wanting Xbox to have all those features you listed. In fact, many who buy an Xbox as a gift after reading the features list think that it is. Only after they have it up and running do they learn of its limitations and the 3rd party add ons required.

The disc is not dead. I bought the PS5 so I could watch my 4k discs. Streaming isn't close even with the PS5 not being a great player. When the pro comes out I'm buying the disc version of it too.

The current Xbox Series X does play 4K UHD Blu-ray discs. The software to play them needs sim work.

As a projector owner with a 2.35:1 screen, I’m very excited for the 21:9 feature.

Caleb - Specifics on this new feature are a little thin. Am I correct in my thinking that the 21:9 feature will just be a simple 3840 x 1634 resolution option which will then accommodate a Constant Image Height setup … (1) An Apple OS menu that will fill my screen, (2) 21:9 (2.35:1) content to be displayed full screen, (3) 16:9 (1.78:1) content, and anything in between 16:9 and 21:9, to have black bars on the side?
