06:10 - The stamina thing is wrong. You do still consume stamina like in the first game when running around the world. It's like the original, stamina just doesn't deplete in safe spaces like hubs and cities.

I held off for awhile before getting Dragon's Dogma 1 as I wasn't sure about it, mind you I hadn't heard about it until much later, but it was so worth it, I was hooked start to finish, incredible game, looking forward to Dragon's Dogma 2 now.

Its just such a good feeling seeing how MHW unequivocally stamped capcom as one of the best publishers in the industry. That game gave them so much good will. Even the interviews with the devs alone just show how much support they have from capcom. Literally gave the DD2 devs over a decade to make sure the game was cooked to well done.

Honestly I gave up on day oneing any video game (except larian I was a DOS:2 player). Larian, Fromsoft, and now Capcom (and there different studios) have changed my mind. I see one of these teams announce a game for pre order you better believe I'm pulling the trigger

From what I've seen the stamina does actually go down in the overworld it just doesn't go down while you're in town. I got this information from Rurikhan on his podcast that has three people who went to the preview event

I’m just playing through it now for the first time. Took me like 5 tries to get into it over a few years. It’s only just finally clicked for me and now I love this game. Feels like it doesn’t get good until you start your main quests from Gran Soren and you discover all the abilities you can purchase which make the combat so incredibly addictive. So much jank in this game though…

Stamina is in fact depleting in Dragon's Dogma 2 as well. It doesn't only in cities/towns or any safe spaces.

You might not be able to escape the Gryphon by going to a town....but you could certainly run into a cave, it ain't getting you in there lol.

Sorry Matty, but stamina drain only halts when inside of a city. Watching the preview event gameplay of DD2, it's clear that stamina drains when you run in the open fields.

Love the first one definitely one of my favorites on the PS3 still love the game in the story is not that bad it's pretty good and you do solve Quest differently

It’s taken me up until this point to finally click with dragons dogma. The release of 2 made me want to go back and try the first game, and I’m loving it. Took me countless times to finally get into it, but I’m glad I’m finally liking it.

Ever since I bought my Playstation Portal I’ve started playing all these classics I had either stopped playing previously or have missed completely. Started with GTA 5 then Batman Arkham Trilogy and now I’m having my first playthrough of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen. On a smaller screen many older games still look very nice and feel playable.
