I like how Dave is diversifying his voice with a team of different speakers - same message, different people. Very smart!

She carries no credit card debt and only puts $10 on it per month and the first line out of his mouth was, "You need to cut that credit card up." Wow.

Yes you can, I am graduating (with honors!) this spring with absolutely no debt! I been working full time and taking 7 classes to get my moneys worth in the semester. I didnt take out loans but I had to pay the school in installments. Paying for the courses made me work harder and show up every single day at school! You can definitely do it, it takes dedication and sacrifice

The credit card clearly isn’t an issue. I understand their approach but that kind of dogmatic idea turns people off. There’s more than one way to skin a cat

Yes you can, I am about to finish my bachelors in accounting and I was able to cashflow my entire tuition.

Keep your credit card. You’re using it responsibly. If you continue using it responsibly, it is ONLY a net positive. If you become impulsive, then get rid of it. Me? I have 4 credit cards and have ONLY ever GAINED from it. Thousands. Interest paid? 0.

I joined the Air Force Reserves and got put on active duty status for 3 yrs; so I qualify for GI bill(70%). Then I moved to my state's national guard which offers 100% free tuition for 6yrs. Luckily my national guard had a signing bonus of $15000(I didn't know they had until i met the recruiter, lol). I am now pursuing RN program and I don't pay a dime, rather I get excess from my benefits. Each semester I get excess of about $4, 500 plus $1300/month;y housing allowance from VA. Is funny I only chose to serve the country without any prior notice of these. I didn't know any of them, I just wanted to wear the uniform. so I'm grateful and proud to wear the uniform.

Some things I did to be school debt free: went to community college. Some states offer University discounts by going to community college. Shop universities - no one cares if you went to an ivy league. Once you hit your career, all they want to know if you have a degree. Look up FASA rules. Some can get grants easier by claiming independent on taxes and stop having their parents claim them. Negotiate with the financial aid office for they want to help you. Look and see if you can get any grants through your state because sometimes it's a separate application than FASA. Take a part time job to buy food and help subsidize costs. Student jobs allow great fexlability. Take a break during summer and work full time. Budget, especially food because some will eat, drink, and party their money away. Track your school costs and keep all receipts to make a claim during tax season - this includes school supplies including computers.

I know they are super passionate about not using credit cards.. but I feel like "cut up your credit card" gets thrown in every single video lol. She literally said she only puts $10 dollars on it and he's like ohhhh

What's wrong with having a credit card? ...Cut it up?!? As long as she doesn't abuse it, it's a great way to build credit.
