POS encourages the accumulation of assets, which is great for speculation, but not for the development of currencies or their liquidity. Since PoS rewards people for the amount of coins they have, it would be better to hold the coins rather than distribute them. This means that liquidity will decrease and the miners holding the majority of the tokens will be in control of the validation process. Doesn't this go against the whole foundation of a decentralized system and remove the most important part of the blockchain - the trust factor? @Andriy_Vysokolian

So, the ideal would not be to know who will win between PoW & PoS, but how will they guarantee the security and efficiency of a NODE to people without programming and cryptography knowledge?
