Hey GJ, i got my u807 today, i love it! its everything i wanted the x5c-1 to be and more! almost lost it a few times already though lol, gotta stay low til i get good, too easy to end up really high in a matter of seconds. really scary when you get it up really high and you aren't sure if you will be able to bring it back lol, happened to me a few times today! tbh im not interested in the phantom much anymore, im thinking maybe next month for my birthday i will get some quantum v2 fpv goggles and a eachine 250 falcon! i feel i will do good with FPV because i have been playing flight sims all my life and i do pretty good in fpv drone sims too!

Hi, very nice video. In the description you wrote that you were able to connect your googles to the H107D. Which googles were you connecting ? I'm currently deciding whether to buy the FatShark Predator or the Attitude - what does your experience say ? My current plan is to get the Predator and a HD DVR HD cam from the attitude kit.

Velen,  you should be able to use the remote on the H107D   I have done that with my X4's   all seem to work just fine with the other models.   Let me know how things go

hey grandpa, im so amazed because i have wanted something like this all my life! i love the future! do u think this one is the most bang for buck for somebody who doesn't have a ton of money to spend? i mean it looks small and cheap, but i guess if its decent quality and its in the air and you can see stuff and have fun it doesn't matter right?

Hello Grandpa Jake, I have a Hubsan X4 H107D but cannot fly it because for unknown reason the Throttle stick is not working as normal.  The Elevator stick which is on the left of the Transmitter is acting as Throttle.  What can I do to correct this problem?
Thanks.

Hi thee, do you know if their is a bigger sized Hubsan X4 H107D 5.8ghz FPV? And can you go further with it as in distance? Can the mini Hubsan go fare?

Excuse me sir. Have you tried H107L remote on H107D? Can it work? I already have a fatshark googles. I wish it works so I can save some money.

Hi, I just have one question, what does the black button on the left of the controller do?

What is the range with the Hubsan X4 H107D FPV 5.8 Ghz? I want something like that either or not it's big or small. I never flew a copter that you can see on a radio control transmitter. And do you know if I can get a pair of landing skids for this quadcopter? I'de like some of those. I really want one of these copters! And I'm planning on getting one somewhere this week. I have budgeted all of this out.

Hi Jake, Thank you for explaining to me what the differences are. You would think that the 5.8Ghz would have a longer range do to the number. Normally that says something, like I can go fare when I guess you really can't otherwise you would not be able to see where it's going. The screen would blank out on you do to bad signal and quality. Which makes sense. I really would not think that the 5.8Ghz would get affected by tress and other thing that get in the way. It's hard to believe that the 2.4Ghz gives much longer range and the number is small. If the 2.4Ghz gives much longer range does that mean 400 meters? Better then the 5.8Ghz.

I have seen a clip on Youtube when a person is flying it into the woods, it starts to have a fuzzy, glitchy, choppy and a scattered screen then when away from the tress high up in the air the screen is clear again. I'm guessing that person had a 5.8Ghz.

It sounds like the Hubsan X4 H107D 2.4Ghz FPV Mini RTF Quadcopter is a lot better at flying then the other one. I'de like to be able to bank. I'm guessing that the 2.4Ghz is also good at handling wind? Of course if there is not to much. To much wind would not be normal for that. Where I live the wind is not always bad. A lot of the time I feel like wanting to fly something in the air. Sense it's not always that windy. I have seen the Hubsan X4 H107D in action when going forward fast and the rest of it all. That is pretty much what I'm looking for to get and have!

Not to sound stupid but, what exactly does (bank) mean when flying one of these reliable Helicopters?

I have worked out my budget on buying the Hubsan X4 H107D 2.4Ghz FPV Mini RTF Quadcopter and looks like I can definitely afford that along with getting a Hubsan X4 Protection Ring White for the H107D for the blades, a black landing skid and maybe another back up battery and also if compatible with the Quadcopter the Fatshark Goggles System. On Amazon the Hubsan X4 H107D FPV Mini RTF QC looks like everybody likes it a lot! Looks like it is for me. Lot's of good rating on it! The other one 5.8Ghz bad and low ratings. And it's more expensive to get.

If I do get the 6 Axis, it would cost more money right? Or does it come already built in the Hubsan copter?

If the 5.8Ghz does no work that well. Then why did you buy it? You must of spend a lot of money on it. Where did you buy it at?

How much was the Fatshark goggles? And do you think it would work with the 2.4Ghz? Sense the Radio Transmitter is a much longer range? You did mention in one of your comments videos that you used a Fatshark on the H107D X4. But If it doesn't work, then I won't worry about it. It probably cost to much anyways.

Where do you think I could get a good landing skid for the Hubsan 2.4Ghz X4 H107D? Because the only landing skid I found was called DIY Landing Skid for H107D X4 FPV Quadcopter. Where would I buy the small micro SD card?

I want to fly the basic way. With no strings attached. Just fly the Hubsan at a certain long distance film and take a picture or just see where I can explore things and feel like I'm in the cockpit of the Hubsan. Nothing to complicated. I will go the harder way one day. So, I think to make it easier for me, I will stick and go with not the 5.8ghz but with the 2.4Ghz. I want to buy something I can afford and this looks and sounds like it. I'm not planning on going crazy with it. But just flying the simple way with enough fun to the tip of my fingers! I want to experience the flight of a copter that is worth it!

P.S. Do you know if the USB Charging Cable would charge the 1S 380mAh 3.7V LiPo battery fast or does it take more then 30 minutes? And if it also charges the same with the BoxWhale 3.7V 500mAh battery? Also something that I forgot to ask you. Can you take a still photo with the Radio control on the left side bottom? Kind of like the right bottom when clicking it you can film things. Those two things while flying in the air tonight? Does the Neewer RC Accessory 4 in 1 Battery Charger for Hubsan  X4 H107D come with 4 extra batteries plus the 4 way charger? Or do you need to buy those two items separately? Something else I read to do with the 2.4 GHz Radio Control powerful, you are basically limited by visual range, not sure what that means? And 5.8GHz FPV System, view real time on a 4.3in LCD screen at 720x240 resolution, not sure what that means either? Isn't the RTF for the 2.4GHz better then the 5.8GHz?

Can you charge the Quadcopter with the USB cable to the Radio control Transmitter? How well do those rechargeable enercell charge all 4 batteries? And how many times can you recharge them from the radio controller transmitter? Until you have to buy another pair of 4 AA batteries?

I Appreciate it,
David

Mr Grandpa I have a question that has been killing me for weeks: I used my quanum pro v2 (wirelessly) with the hubsan x4, but now the screen on the transmitter does not display any image. Any ideas why this is happening? Nice channel by the way.

Hi Jake, I appreciate your thoughts on those other flying machines. But I think I'm going to stick with the Hubsan X4 H107D 5.8Ghz FPV. I only want to buy what I can afford and that can flying fast forward stunts okay range with video etc. My other question for you is. Do you know where I could get a good pair of black landing skids? It would look better and cooler with that on when landing! And does 5.8 Ghz has to do with the transmitter radio meaning that you can go further with the Hubsan X4 H107D in range? Even though the quality might not be as good but still does the job for me with what I can afford.

I'm guessing if you fly one with a frequency of 2.4 Ghz then you would lose the range on the transmitter radio faster then the 5.8 Ghz? The 2.4 Ghz is cheaper. The 5.8 Ghz is more expensive do to it being able to go further in range right? Agin I'm going by what I can afford that would make this the top flying machine for me that I can fly the way I want to fly it. Then maybe later in the future I will get the Dji Phantom with it being all perfect and all.

To me the Hubsan X4 H107D 5.8Ghz FPV Quadcopter looks beautiful and is 100% close to the other radio control flying machines I have seen. But at a price that I can afford of course. This would give me a greater experience in flying something like Helicopter better then other cheap junk out their. It will get me in a higher level and prepare me for something more expensive later.

As I said at first I have always wanted to have the chance to be able to fly something the right way and have a blast doing so. Without worrying about anything else much. Especially when I want to be able to fly a copter that can last me a long time and not a few weeks or a month but a long time. Something that is durable enough and that does the job that I want it to do. Sorry, for repeating a few things if I did. I just want as much advice and help as I can get. Then just buy this and it's over. Time to have fun flying something in my control where I want to go and want to do.

As we all know. The more money you spend on getting something expensive the better of you are with it and have fun.

What is 6 Axis got to do with the Hubsan X4 H107D 5.8Ghz FPV? Is 6 Ch better then the 4 Ch? What is RTF for the Quadcopter?

What your showing on Youtube the Hubsan X4 H107D 5.8Ghz FPV, well that's what I want! I hope that when I buy it from Amazon that the 5.8Ghz Frequency and the Transmitter Range 400 meters plus Radio Controller 6 Ch., will be my final buy for me and the right flying copter machine!?

P.S. Do you think it's a good idea to also buy with the Hubsan X4 H107D 5.8Ghz FPV Quadcopter a ThinkMax 4 In 1 x4 Battery Charger for Hubsan and at last with all of this to also either buy a 5x 3.7V 5x 3.7V 380mAh Lipo Battery Hubsan or a BoxWhale 3.7V 500mmAh Battery for Hubsan X4 H107D?

Sorry, to make you keep reading but, how about the cheapest prize in buying this thing called a FatShark Video Glasses? And my last question to complete all this I hope. When I would need to charge my Hubsan Quadcopter with the USB, how long would that take either plugged in my lap top my outlet or just using the radio controller? And of course all 4 battery's charging with the ThinkMax? If I'm correct that the more battery's you have the more flying you can do in the air? Like an hour! According to what I have read the Quadcopter is flight time is a 10 minute flight and takes 30 minutes to charge. Which is pretty good for a radio controlled Quadcopter!

Appreciate it,
David

Hi Jake, Not to go on about not understanding what your saying or anything about the Ghz, because I'm getting to understand in which your right that it will get confusing but, when you say (the lower it goes the further it will reach), when you say that do you mean lower as for the 2.4Ghz that will reach further? Not to be confused with the Ghz or anything.

Do you think by any chance that the Hubsan H107D 2.4Ghz has a built in GPS tracker?

What do you think is the best thing to buy for the Hudsan X4 H107D 2.4Ghz a ThinkMax 4 In 1 x4 battery charger? Or a Neewer  RC Accessory 4 in 1 battery charger for Hubsan X4?

When I would need to charge my Hubsan Quadcopter LiPo battery with the USB, how long would that take either plugged in my lap top MacBook Pro, or the outlet? And of course all 4 LiPo batteries charging with the ThinkMax? The more LiPo batteries you have the more flying hours of fun you can do in the air? And I wonder how many times you can fly in the air in one day with all this in hand? According to what I have read that the Hubsan is flight time is a 10 minute flight and takes 30 minutes to charge? Which is pretty awesome for a radio controlled Quadcopter!

I found on the internet that a battery: 3.7v 240mAh charge time is 30 minutes and flying time 10 minutes. But I don't know if the LiPo battery is compatible for the Hubsan X4 H107D 2.4Ghz? The name of the battery is called Traxxas 6237 LiPo 3.7V 240mAh? But the picture does not say the name of the battery. Unless I went online to find out. Between all the LiPo batteries I have mentioned to you, I wonder which one will be the best to have a 10 minute flight in the air? What kind of LiPo battery do you use for flying?

Did you buy your Hubsan H107D at Amazon? Do you think i should buy my Hubsan X4 H107D 2.4Ghz at Amazon or another site called www.cali-bros.com?

Do you think that Energizer AA 4 rechargeable batteries will work for the radio?

Getting the right and most fulfilling product to start with professionally is what I want. I'm guessing and hope I won't have to worry about anything to do with adjusting the rudder trims? Because that is the worse most annoying thing to fix or worry about when flying something.

You know the right button that you click on the radio control and start filming something. Well does the left button on the radio take still photos? Sense their is one button on each side of the radio controller? I have heard on someones Youtube page that apparently on some site call something like Helpsaw.com or something like that, the person was not talking clearly so I couldn't understand them. Anyways the person says that the site has a couple different (DIY) type of Antennas that you can install on to the Hubsan X4 H107D or convert to make it have a little bit better distance while flying further when looking at your video on the radio transmitter? If that makes an even better longer range for the video, then thats really great! So, the Hubsan X4 H107D goes fare and so does the video. Your thoughts on this? Hopefully it's worth it.

I want to buy the right stuff that is needed for my Hubsan X4 H107D 2.4Ghz. FPV Mini RTF QuadCopter!

P.S. do you know what 5x3.7V 500mAh battery mean? Mostly the 5x3.7V mean?

If I order the Hubsan X4 H107D 2.4Ghz FPV Mini RTF on Sunday 11/09/14, do you think it will arrive at my current location this Wednesday 11/12/14? If I'm correct normally when you buy something that expensive that flies it takes about 3 days.

Sincerely,
David

I have checked out the Micro SD Card to the link that you provided me with. And it looks good, I will most definitely buy one!

Did you buy your Hubsan H107D at Amazon?

Yes, As you said. I would have to say that you would be hooked on that as much as you get to fly how you want to fly and where you want to go. And not some stupid cheap flying helicopter with one blade that has a mind of it's own when your trying to make it fly the way you want it to fly. I hate that part. I want control of what I'm flying just like a pilot does!

Getting the right and most fulfilling product to start with professionally is what I want. I'm guessing and hope I won't have to worry about anything to do with adjusting the rudder trims? Because that is the worse most annoying thing to fix or worry about when flying something. Because I'm tired of doing that. It's like PC computer vs. a MacBook pro and who wins the game of the day and forever it's the MacBook Pro. It takes care of it's self without any effort on your side. Having to do that just sucks up to much of my time, when all I want to do is just fly already. Unlike those useless cheap junk small helicopters that requires to much help form you all the time. Just something that does the job! And I'm happy with that! I want to be blowed away and amazed by something I'm flying like I never have controlled before! In my total control that is the eye and the big key to wine!

Do you think I should get a carrying case for the Hubsan? I guess I won't worry about the fatshark goggles.

P.S. You know the right button that you click on the radio control and start filming something. Well does the left button on the radio take still photos? Somewhat Moderate? This thing can resist a lot of abuse.
Seriously I've crashed it so many times from great heights even on all kinds of surfaces and the only damages after about 100 crashes were blades and 2 tiny parts on the legs that try to hold the legs together more steadily.

But that has not had any effect on the flight. It's amazing how much damage this thing can take.
