Moghedian's scene with Elayne and Nynaeve was a masterpiece. My favorite part of the episode by far

Since Laia Costa uttered her very first line in the show, she creeped me tf out and then I knew right there and then, come season 3, she’ll establish herself as the creepiest, pettiest, sickest, most psychotic character in the show. This is such a good casting and portrayal for me, this is the kind of villain we want to see in the high fantasy genre.

The scene where Ishamael appeared to Liandrin, she had JUST fallen asleep. Up until the season finale of season 1, Ishamael had only been appearing in dreams, because he as still trapped.

I love that we got Elayne "the performer" one of my favorite small bits from the books was her high rope act mini storyline and I thought that for sure they'd cut it out, and I was so happy when she started singing "The Hills of Tanchico" not only because her voice is sublime, but also because I felt that was a little homage to her circus storyline

This was such an incredible episode, i loved all the Tanchico stuff, but GOD was the Rand scene so powerful. The actor playing rand is totally killing it

You know the episode was good when Moghedien has finally dethroned Dolores Umbridge as the most evil woman in the fantasy genre. And no, I definitely don't want to be gray.

I saw the Elayne scene the same way. The way she was dancing when she started the song vs how she was dancing towards the end and I think there was even a moment when she shared a look with Thom and I swear you could see the puzzle fitting together in her head and he looked so amused. 🤣 I LOVED the scene with Moggy and the girls. I was waiting for the Indication that Nynaeve was fighting the compulsion and honestly fighting over the bracer was so much more satisfying than yanking on her braid. Loved seeing her with Min and finally relax a little. I dont think we’ve really seen her with a genuine smile until this episode

This is the first episode of the series that made me bawl out crying as a grown ass man. Rand’s been getting the absolute shit end of the stick since day 1 and all he wants to do is help everyone. But no matter how much stronger he gets, people keep getting hurt and there’s nothing he can do it about it. He can control the One Power but it takes away a little bit every single time.

Also, I actually physically clapped when Ishamael popped up. I miss Fares Fares!

i know people loved episode 4 but as a none reader this had my favorite scene of the entire show, finally i get to see the power and powerlessness of rand, both the epic unleashing he finally did and the desperate "what does the prophecy say!??!" was something i needed.

Feels like the artists have been unleashed this season, they all showed up to the plate with their best work. We love to see it.

My favorite part was Morraine’s reaction to Rand just letting his guard down ever so slightly. The world shaking was incredible foreshadowing.
