Covered by renowned American duo Simon & Garfunkel, El Cóndor Pasa is one of the most well-known Peruvian songs in the world. Composed in 1913, this cashua was honoured as the finale tune in El Cóndor Pasa, a zarzuela of the same name. The condor symbolises freedom – in a season where we shed all that is ready to be released.
