It's so sad that the fashion industry is still body shaming. When would they realize that different people have different bodies. So sad. Worse is Hollywood puts out movies and tv shows telling people to love themselves then do the opposite to their stars.

I like that Cardi admits you gotta show up on the radar to get big name designers to take note. Personally I would be be petty and find a smaller designer who matches my aesthetic and raise them up. I don't understand people's obsession with trying to "get in". Instead make them irrelevant.

Victoria’s Secret is going under because of their lack on inclusivity, other brands need to realize they’re at risk as well. The average size woman in the US is 12-16 but these brands are making clothes for and advertising on size 0 woman that are airbrushed so they’re unrecognizable. The worse part is when plus size clothes are cut different then the smaller size versions, a lot of brands have done that as well, it’s disgusting.

O.K. "I can't find a designer to make me a dress for the RED CARPET when the FIRST THING the MC's says "and she's wearing a dress by..." . Go to one of the local trade schools that ARE teaching dress design and give THEM a shot at it! The school will benefit, and the $$$$ you would have spent on a dress YOU'LL NEVER WEAR AGAIN could go to the school to help future their education ! Its the REAL PEOPLE who PUT you on the RED CARPET, NOT the so called designers. Ladies, you got where your at because of YOUR talent NOT theirs!

I want to start a business as a designer and I want to make clothes in all sizes. There are so many people who come in all shapes and sizes. They should be able to have something fabulous to wear!

This might be controversial but… why then just go to the big designers? Because I’m sure there are a ton of designers wanting to dress these people, if they only knew they had a chance.

This nonsense that a designer doesn't have enough time to make somebody address is complete bullshit because when it comes down to like a Couture fashion show or like a runway show they will literally undo an entire skirt on entire bottom and work through the night to finish something if it's just finished beating they'll get it done when you have a team of people working you'd be surprised how actually quick and easy it is to cut out a dress get its own and then get it fitted this like within a day or two
