I can relate to Mordecai. I was once with a girl for 5 years, from the start of eighth grade, to the end of senior year of high school. After she left me, I felt sad and heartbroken for a year and a half. In that that time, I was compared to Mordecai, called a “simp” and how I had to just grow up and get over it. While I’ve learned to except what happened, that pain never truly goes away. I learned to get used to it, that the days I had with that girl are long gone, and I had to move on. In a way, I am glad for the experience, I now know what to look for in a woman, to not repeat my past mistakes, and overall know to make myself happy before anyone else.
