Grüß Gott and Happy Oktoberfest! Perfect timing for a warm fall dish as we hit a low of 5C last night in Toronto. Thank you for explaining the difference between German and American sauerkraut -- that might explain why I've never like it. I love your ingredients used to make the sauce but I think I would probably go with your mushroom gravy, which is outstanding and anyone reading this must watch the video and grab the recipe from the website. Very good. There was quite a bit of liquid left in the pan though. I’m wondering if I should cut back on the amount of beer or broth.
