They should just add them all.

It can't be as annoying as the phantom, it doesn't spawn on its own.

if he didnt press random buttons, then it would be very useful, like imagine: Copper golem presses specific buttons depending if they have a redstone input close to it. then you could make a hell lot of cool redstone machines with it.

The copper golem could make your builds come alive.
i would use the golem in houses, where i would design the house with various copper bontons that they could interact with.
The interactions could be toggling things on/off like light, piston doors, camp fire smoke and more.
This would make it seem like someone is living and using that house

i hope copper buttons can be moved using pistons since it would allow players to make moving battleships

i personally feel like the copper golem has the most potential to have features added later, but with the way that it is rn, it doesn't seem very useful to me. i really like the idea of having a new golem with a new functionality

I don't think alley would feel very vanilla at all, but the golem.. He's feckin CUTE. Also, I think the update could be some sort of automation update, since both the alley and the copper golem is on that track.

At a guess with the fact they are describing it as having lots of power, the lightning rod on the top, and the fact that lightning de-oxidises copper in game, could striking it with lightning refresh it?

Honestly Copper Golem feels like the best choice!

-Finally adds some decent usage for copper
-Doesn't spawn on his own, and dies after some time, so won't be as annoying as phantom
-can be used as a ranomizer in redstone mechanics

It seems more useful than Allay, which can only collect items of one kind that lay on the ground, which isn't a common thing.

Well, looks like I will have to hope for more details on all of them during Minecraft Live before I even consider choosing.

Definitely voting for the copper golem since they could be used in automation or even mini games.

What if copper buttons can be pushed ONLY by Copper Golems??

If that's the case, than we can create maps where you have to be followed by the golem and protect him from the environment. Then, you reach a room where the golem will push buttons and maybe a door unlocks!

Although the other mobs have "less use"
Copper golem is much more new player friendly, and seems like more fun to have then the other two mobs r kinda finicky

I feel like the copper golem could be the mob to go to, because it might open the door for other golems, maybe clay or gold. Also copper buttons sound like they could have a lot of potential.

I like the idea of copper golems it's super interesting. Are oxidised golems gonna be entities or blocks? Do they freeze in place? Or do they just immediately pathfind to the nearest block center and face a certain direction?

It can't be another Phantom because it doesn't spawn naturally. This mob has my vote for sure. I've wanted another golem in the game for years

I love this mob. I'm voting for it. The ability to have a mob that pushes a new type of button is a win

My vote would be on allay [despite wanting them all in] considering how helpful it is for casual players especially when gathering materials. It helps you with items you forgot gathering, mob loots that would require falling down and going up to collect, picking up bldg materials when making roofs and other builds, and many more.~
Plus, it dances. Imagine pressing the doorbell at your house and this little friend would dance and deliver you items.~

This mob brings three things:

1. The mob itself, with its random button pressing behavior.
2. A new type of button in the game which is made out of copper.
3. And a new block to the game: The frozen copper golem, which occurs when the golem oxidizes.

Randomizers are already possible in the game, and regular buttons are already in the game. Copper buttons might be a nice decorative touch, and the frozen golem might look interesting in steam punk builds.

Should there be a way to influence or control what buttons it presses? The stages of oxidization? Light level? “Waxed Lightly Weathered Copper Golem”?

I like all of these, but the Allay is by far the most interesting one. But lets be honest with ourselves, the one that will win is the one thats picked by the Big Minecraft channels and pushed by them on Twitter
