It's been getting so predictable I could smell bad guy vibes the moment Emilie said she knew him

What really got me was at the end when he was all like, "I said what I said, I did what I did, and I don't regret or repent. Take me to jail and let me die there." Other baddies would at least feel remorse or feel crushed by the results of their actions. Not him.

I actually found this question to have a pretty interesting plot! It kinda felt like watching an anime

Being unpredictable doesn’t make a story better by default. I’d rather it be well written than try to pull a fast one.

Not gonna lie... I feel incredibly stupid now since I didn't even suspect Edgar😅... I thought it was the two brothers...

Tbh i don't see any problem with predictable outcome, i'm more curious about the reason why they did it and i think emilie sq is a good one

Why is the Xianyun quest on there? It doesn’t really have a villain.

The Arle quest isn’t exactly a plot twist, in fact it’s more accurate to say she (Arle) sees through the mc and children trying to make a plot twist.

Chiori wasn’t a plot twist either. Uther was established as a villain in the beginning.

And Sigewinne’s wasn’t really a fake out, more so a challenge to try and determine who the people that are acting like doppelgängers are, but I guess it’s close enough.

And the Clorinde fake out is in part that the villain isn’t entirely the guy, but actually a monster.

It's predictable but in my opinion, they executed it well. But tbh, I actually thought the two brothers are the culprit. Then the smaller brother off'ed the bigger brother XD

the OTHER massive problem is they very rarely give characters a part 2 in their story quests, most of them are left like as if they're planning to continue with their stories, some of which have been years since they started

Bran is slowly descending into madness with every passing story quest😅

“So many stories have had this” proceeds to show stories that didn’t have what he said…

It's actually a rule in detective novels that the suspect MUST almost always include in first set of introduce cast

I love the part where the npc is like “don’t come any closer 😖”and he just screamed “AhahaAhhaAHHahah 🤬”

Edit: Omg tysm! This is the most like I ever gotten in 1 day and ever!

Don't alot of mystery novels and tv series have this?
Its always the one you first suspect has happened to me too many times at the end of the day i just enjoy the little things that most people miss

To be fair, if you think about it rationally, and not the tropes, how the hell can a guy that was supposed to be around 30 years old be a 70 years old?

It seems like Bran didn’t enjoy this quest, and that makes me sad…

This is why I stopped doing story quests unless they’re required. From the repeated and predictable quest lines to the same old random npc being introduced that the SQ character just so happens to relate to, it’s gotten so tiring that it just feels like a chore at this point. It’s crazy that people are so used to the random npc problem that they easily overlook its flaws
