Brilliant version. Love it and thanks for uploading this. I knew Rick recorded "True Love Ways" but did not know he also performed this Buddy Holly classic as well.

I believe that True Love Ways was the last song Rick Nelson recorded in studio and was his last record release before he was killed. Likewise, I've heard that Rave On was the last song he played live in concert before he died. Perhaps he got to be reacquainted with Holly in the ether. Most of the musicians who knew, worked with, and played on shows with Holly missed him dearly and as Little Richard once said were badly hurt when he left this world.

@omarskats3000 It was also the very last song that Buddy Holly performed before HIS plane crashed. NEVER finish a concert with this song!
