Got to ride this back in July. Not a bike I'd ever own, but it could be great for a new rider.

I was wondering the whole time what should be a FZ-07, because I've never heard until I realized that the FZ models in Europe are called MT.

only dude that gives the fz a bad review, maybe he just doesn't know it'll power wheelie the first 3 gears

I've owned my FZ-07 for about 6 months now. I love the bike, but I will say that there are things I miss or feel like I'm missing out on with it. I'm 6' tall and felt the same cramped feeling and soreness after an hour of riding. I wound up putting clip-ons on and new fully adjustable rearsets and that spaced me out more and made even a 4 hour ride on it enjoyable. I wasn't uncomfortable on it at all. It's perfect for what I use it for though and what it was intended to be. A good city/commuter bike that still lets you have some fun when you want to.

It's a 2016. You're right it's a great starter bike above a 250 or 300. It's a world of difference with an exhaust and tune and it's easy to wheelie.

I started on this bike and it was awesome. Great for urban riding and it would still hit just over 120mph quite easily.. never tried going any quicker, tho. I had the silver with blue as well but no stripes. put a small screen, full titanium akra exhaust and tail tidy.. looked and sounded awesome.

I am about to get the Fz-07 as a beginner cause that is the best i think i can get with an A2 licence here in Europe. It's normal to se someone who has been riding for a while (Walter) to not be impressed by it so all the guys who want the 07, don't dislike it cause Walter said he is not impressed!

(A2 licence is restricted to 35kW and you have to be atleast 18 years old)

Walt, I don't think you really opened it up... Being stuck with a group is not a good situation to be in to be "impressed" by a bike. That bike has A LOT of torque. It can pull the front end up in 3rd, MAYBE 4th gear, but when you're just putting around, it's a very easily-manageable bike. And in the twisties it's one hell of a carver. Find one that you can take on a ride on your own and really give it hell. You'll be surprised.
