No Backlight keyboard is a deal breaker. I mean what was Xiaomi thinking before making this laptop. The year is 2020 not 2015 Xiaomi 🤦

PLEASE check following few things :

1) EXTRA slot for Ram &/or Storage ( SSD or HDD)

2) Thermal performance for extended heavy tasks .

3) Speaker test

4) Does the screen have any Flickering issues at low brightness (Brightness Ctrl w/ PWM at 250 Hz causes strain in eyes )

5) Also, if possible, please ask Xiaomi about the Service Center Support for their new Laptops .

Can we upgrade the ram ? Or is it soldered and not additional slots are available, is the storage upgradable and if so, does it have an additional m.2 slot or we should replace the existing drive . How about the temperatures when gaming ?

wht do u think I need to buy a laptop now.... I use a hell lot of virtual boxes at a tym n also do some video and photo editing .. should I go for this or buy Inspiron 5590 it offers a hell lot of upgradaablity but offers i5 10gen
