Rx 7900 GRE even outperforms the RTX 4070 Ti super when it's overclock so it's pretty much a high end 1440p card not a budget 1440p card lol.

I own a 7900 GRE and you can definitely play 4k games, maybe for competitive games you want to play at 1440p but imersion is great on the card imo.

Used mine for 4k for a bit, on maxed out settings on the games I was playing it would get usually about 120+ fps. And thats with it being on a pcie gen 3 board, and slower ddr4 memory.

Got a RX 7800XT on Release day and I dont regret it, also a 1440p beast and decent enough in 4K

It can hit 100 FPS if you crank everything at 1440p. As a GRE owner OF THE SAME MODEL this card is awesome, for a 1100$ build it’ll chew through games, and even 4k if you can adjust some settings. I got it to hit 25k in timespy, thanks to the recent driver updates. FSR is 100% not as good as DLSS, but I find that it is still useable, and in select titles sharpening can alleviate some of the softness in raster? PCMR’s pick. If you have questions hit me back
