another great formation is a custom 4-4-2, where you have your standard defense, but your midfield is really spread out length wise. Meaning you put 2 CDMs really far into the defensive third, and then a right and left mid that act as wings, but they are mids so they can work back on defense. Then you put to stikers up in the attacking zone to finish the crosses from the mid/wings. Its a great crossing formation because all the players work their way into the box. You should totally include Tymoschuk as your defending/center mid fielder. He is an amazing player and really tough to pass.

I'm playing their standard formation with tymoschuk and luiz gustavo as central defenders because they have amazing interceptions and tackling but I'll try this line up Patrick, thanks!

used to do this, then abandoned it for a 4-1-3-2 Moving Muller up at striker with Gomez, Gustavo/Tymo at the CDM spot, and Schweni/Kroos with Robben/Ribery at AM spots.

If one were able to get past the other team's defensive midfield line and play 1v1 with the LB/RB, then crosses would be much more effective with Gomez and Muller in the box.

I like to use Bruno as the other CB with Boatang. That way you have two decent pace CB both wtih 3 star skills. Fun to start a run with a 3 star CB!

Thank you patrick, great information. I am still having trouble with getting my players into space while attacking, it seems I am constantly being tackled just before my shot or passes are not getting through. Can you/anyone offer suggestions ?

@PatrickHDxGaming nein ein wunder 4-3-3 die aufstellung haste ja noch garnich in der serie benutzt :D bei welchen teams spielste eig ne andre formation^^
