This version is almost militaristic, as opposed to the SNES version. I enjoy both. This one, however, takes the panicky, uncertainty of the original and makes it urgent and driving.

When this track first plays, Cless and Mint have finally arrived at a location where they believe they will come away with some tangible weapon to strike back at Dhoas, a still-mysterious foe who has robbed them of their family, their safety, and even their own time. This song perfectly communicates the emotions they must have felt as they plunged into those crags and caves in search of Sylph.
