It's winter break here in Buenos Aires, ARG and I'm making my best to learn as much as I can from your videos. I like the idea of teachers at my schools using this method you show here to create more engaging lessons. Students will love learning this way. Thanks for everything you share with us!!

I already use Google Slides but I learned a lot about how to make them better.

Another great video...Thank you! When you assign the google slides on google classroom, do you give each student a copy with the drop down menu or do the students have to "make a copy"?

Thank you for sharing your great ideas. Something I do that others might benefit from: I copy my student view Google slide presentation and add an apple emoji to the title so that I don't get it mixed up with the teacher Google slide presentation that I added a sunglasses emoji to. I link them and can add teacher notes in the speaker notes that won't show in the student presentation. I use the speaker notes to remind myself of changes needed for next year. I hope this makes sense and that maybe I've helped someone else.

Great sharing. Am wondering how do you make videos with yourself without a background and a video behind you.

I also like to use an agenda & "aims" or targets! Students wan know WHAT we are doing, not just why. :-D It puts their minds to ease, and it makes it easy to recap at the end all that we have accomplished so far, and what we still need to work on later.

Great Video, thank you. Would you say that these are the same as the HyperDoc (Hyperslides)? What is the difference? Would you link to a HyperDoc from this lesson? Or is this just a guide for the day? Thank you again.

Hi, Sam. I have seen in a few of your videos where you show lessons that you have created where along the side there is a table displaying M-movement, V- voice, and P-participation. I am not familiar with that, but I like that idea. Is there somewhere where I can learn more about it, so I may start using it in my lessons, or do you happen to have a video on that? Thank you.

Great video! I'm just curious; how long are your periods? This seems like a lot of activity for a 45 minute lesson. Also, for the template you are using, did you get it from the theme section or from an external source like slide carnival. Thanks for making such great videos!

Tks for sharing your experiences. It helps a lot. I have a problem with meet. I can't record students voices to listen them later. I can hear only my own voice. What should I do?

YOU ARE AMAZING! So, let me see if I understood. This is a weekly Lesson planning and also your class presentation and you give the class with this? When you share it, you change it to view only? By any chance do you have a simple format of planning so we can share it with our Principal?

Great video Sam. I know you said that if a student is absent, he can check the Google Slides lesson on Google Classroom and see all the notes his classmates made, for example of the KWL chart in the Engage section. Here's my question- in order for the absent student to see those notes from his classmates, do you have all your students edit the same Google Slides file and therefore they all type on the same KWL chart in your slides? Or do you present these Slides yourself to the class, the kids make their own KWL chart in their notebooks or chart paper, and then you type their answers down in the KWL chart yourself? I was just wondering how an absent kid would see the student answers. Is this google slide lesson just for yourself to present to the class or the kids get a copy of their own or do they all edit the same file? Thank you.

I love your videos and always look forward to watching more. I do have a concern though, I work in a Title 1 school where the students to not have individual laptops available. I would love to incorporate more tech in the classroom but am finding it difficult in some ways. Any suggestions?
