I used to have the new phantom Star Wars set but I left it outside and forgot about it for a week and now I have a sun damaged grand admiral thrawn. I hate younger me.

That kid shares the same fear I had when I was a kid. He's afraid of the plastic cracking/breaking. Notice that you need to push both the windows AND the proppeler through, causing the kid to be afraid of breaking his new plastic toy.

The dollar probably got stuck somewhere. I got a scuffed up helmet piece that got stuck in a trash can, and we needed pliers to take it out

i LOVED that plane when i was a kid, perhaps the most fun i had with a lego set. i always imagined it was being used in some cool action adventure.

When I was around 8 I used to play with my causins who were around the same age. I remember being left out every once and a while simply because of how miticulous I play with lego but every so often asked to join back in to solve something complicated to build like a play feature or ask me to build something cool with lots of features. It makes me feel smart and still reflects to this day when they ask me to fix their briken day to day items.

Even I use random round things for wheels and bolts and nuts for the axles for my Lego sets😊 I don't regret it
