Ralph Breaks the Internet in theatres November 21.

“Ralph Breaks the Internet” leaves Litwak’s video arcade behind, venturing into the uncharted, expansive and thrilling world of the internet—which may or may not survive Ralph’s wrecking. Video game bad guy Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly) and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman) must risk it all by traveling to the world wide web in search of a replacement part to save Vanellope’s video game, Sugar Rush. In way over their heads, Ralph and Vanellope rely on the citizens of the internet—the netizens—to help navigate their way, including a webite entrepreneur named Yesss (voice of Taraji P. Henson), who is the head algorithm and the heart and soul of trend-making site “BuzzzTube.” Directed by Rich Moore (“Zootopia,” “Wreck-It Ralph”) and Phil Johnston (co-writer “Wreck-It Ralph,” “Cedar Rapids,” co-writer “Zootopia,”), and produced by Clark Spencer (“Zootopia,” “Wreck-It Ralph,” “Bolt”), “Ralph Breaks the Internet” hits theaters on Nov. 21, 2018.

As a big fan of both Wreck-It Ralph and classic animations like Astro Boy (Mighty Atom), I think it would be amazing if Disney created a new remake of Astro Boy with lots of cameos, just like in Ralph Breaks the Internet. It would be incredible to see how Disney brings this iconic character to life with a modern twist and fun crossovers!

In the Tezuka's Astro Boy (2003) series, there is this recurring duo—a large fatherly figure and a little girl—that appear in several episodes. This pair reminds me so much of Ralph (the father) and Vanellope (the daughter) from Wreck-It Ralph! They would be a perfect fit as family members in a future Astro Boy series by Disney, especially if Disney ever remakes Astro Boy (Atom -> Adam) in the long-termed future. It would be so interesting to see them portrayed as Ralph and Vanellope’s descendants or even as characters with the same names.

This scene with the large father figure and little girl really reminds me of Ralph and Vanellope from Wreck-It Ralph! If Disney ever remakes Astro Boy (Adam) in the future, these characters would fit perfectly as Ralph (father) and Vanellope’s (daughter) descendants or even as characters with the same names. That would be such a fun family dynamic!
