Hope one day all these audio equipment can be fully digitized.
No more messy wiring, no more ground noise, no more buzz or fuzz, no more undergaining or clipping issues, no more trip hazard.
Everything is part of a simple, full-redundant, high-speed, self-healing loop network based on Ethernet cables or optical fibers.

Besides foh, being a patch tech and responsible for all the mics and connections in the stage is my favourite job. I absolutely love it

Excellent video. Maybe some audiences will junderstand it's not just a few people running about on stage between acts. It is planning plotting and more, even before arriving at the event. Then it's late de-rigg. Well done for us guys..

Best part when the band don't show up with half the stuff they say and it all feels alot easier. Wierldy like being over prepared and then not bothering.

What are common cable lengths used on these bigger gigs?

And, in a rush not winding over and under? 😉

Push button sharpies. One hand operation. Epic.

Not questioning the setup and admire the attention to detail but just wondering why you dont just keep drums patched and basic backline less having to reconfigure? Just setup for the largest act and then all the other acts will fall within the parameters. keep a few spares on each stage box for the odd ones and those are the only ones that need changes.

It would be great to get more videos like this! Do you put your GoPro on your head or chest?
