Amen!! I went to a baptism in a Greek Orthodox Church and one of the party gifts was the evil eye bracelet I am Roman Catholic and burnt them. Thank you Fr. God bless you!!

Can you please do a comparison between maronite Catholic and melkite greek catholic. Referring to the syrian and Lebanese. And question regarding st Charbel. Is his sainthood and miracles recognized by the pope? Can miracles be performed by humans through God?

I would go even further to say things like the evil eye don't actually ward off evil but ATTRACT evil into the bearer's life. Perhaps it's like using your garbage to make your house smell less like your neighbor's garbage... or trying to fight off your neighbor's rabid pitbull with your own rabid pitbull that could turn on you at any moment, and usually does... idk if that makes sense, all I know is that people who adhere to these superstitions also seem to have lives filled with unfortunate coincidences lol
