There's no problem with the Multiverse, it just reminds you it if from a Comic book source. Be real, Comic characters don't die. It's the most canon thing they can do. It the same reason DC is using it. It explains all the reboots without explaining anything. Just like all the comic story lines and reboots.

Buddy antman and his crew had 2 whole movies for character development. Kang had the end of Loki. Of course his main goal is to get back to the multiverse. He is also just one Kang in millions-- he isn't MEANT to be developed very well. He is meant to be a menace who conquers. The most you will get is if they adapt his Iron Lad storyline
