[World of Warcraft] How I Make 20,000 Gold Per Hour in WoW

This guide is made during WotLK. It is no longer directly relevant, but many of the techniques used are still very potent in WoW and other games, even today.

Having a system which lets you gather a lot of gold in very little time is crucial to being a successful WoW player as it frees up more time to do whatever else you need to be doing. In the video I show what I typically used to do each Tuesday when I listed my auctions. This was my first time using a newer version of Auctionator, so it took a few minutes longer than usual.

Although this video is old, the concept of cutting gems and having exclusive recepies is, and will always be, one of the most profitable activities one would participate in.

in the short term you can pretty much buy them all out and still profit from almost any cut. The problem with this is, that in the long run the price will gradually increase and your costs will go up and up. Buying only cheap gems, which are indeed in limited supply, will keep the cost low in the future.

Short and informative. I used to do this on a smaller scale, but I did it in conjunction with mining. If I ever go back to WoW I'll play it as more of an auctioneer. Nice video.

its 20k an hour because its 10k profit in half an hour -- which is also 10k for the day in this case. When you sell every day, you run into supply issues on top of selling less on days other than Tuesday.

I had a steady income in wotlk by crafting "crystal citrine necklace", "sun rock ring", "crystal chalcedoney amulet" and "bloodstone band" with an toon. The reagents has been very cheap at the auction house and I also annoucnced at the tradechat to send me the reagents by COD with a given price. Than let the toon craft while you're afk and vendor the items (used one click addons for vendoring).
The average costs has been 1g60s (or something) but it vendors for 3g14s
There's no peak in income but the cashflow is constantly. No need for waiting for raid-days or weekends when people will by flasks and jewels etc.

well I only post for 12 hours to lower the deposit fee. Usually I have to relist more than half the gems I initially put up.

I think the point is LOTS of people are now wise to the fact selling gems / enchants before and during reset is pure win, the main point of this video (from what I got) was reducing the time it takes to make and check auctions, check for undercutters, and making sure you have the cheapest auctions up meaning your items WILL sell and not
A good reason for this (if you didn't already know) is they DO NOT require any fee to post the auction up.
From this you can make some serious coin.

Just to update wow now, you are very very lucky if you can do what he does atm, because more and more ppl have gotten to know of what masses of gold you can make. I've been doing this strategy for 3 months now, and at the start i could pretty much set the price myself, but now im competing againts loads of ppl trying to make gold.

i personally would not cancel every undercut auction because it is most likely to be sold anyway this way you lose about 5 g every gem.
