I loved this show. Shows don't usually show what real functioning addiction looks like. But I feel this one was pretty close. I was addicted to pain pills for 10yrs. No one is my life knew till i decided to get clean & came clean w/everyone. Never lost my job, car, house, family, friends. Bills were always paid, I went on vacations, I took care of my family. I never did too much, never OD. Never got arrested. Addiction affects all walks of life & it doesn't always look the same.

I laughed because it reminded me of the hospital visit I had when I had surgery. There was apparently one good nurse’s cart that always worked without a problem and was stocked. The nurses on that floor coveted that cart. One got the idea to hide it in a patient room until they needed it again. It was hilarious watching the nurses acting like blood hounds for that cart. It was even funnier that they repeatedly hid the cart in my room and it was always the last place they’d check and oddly it was usually found when they’d stopped looking for it. I was back in the hospital recently and nothing had changed.

My pockets as a CNA were DEEP. I always had supplies every time I went into a room. Trash bag? There's a role in my pants pockets. Clean wash cloth? I got for in my right shirt pocket. If it fit I had it.

I love how they’re stuffed everywhere when a main reason is to keep contaminates from traveling. That means to the patient, to the doctor or nurse, and so it isn’t carried to another patient.

Meanwhile she’s pulling them out of her bra. I definitely cracked up but girl! Steal boxes, or put them into a gallon baggy! I don’t want the glove used on me to have sweat, clothing fibers and the like. Even so… holy, this was hilarious.

I worked in a turkey place over Christmas, killing gutting carving plucking, all that. We had two types: the purple nice lovely stretchy, slightly powdered. And then the rubbish blue rigid, papery ones.

We used to hide the purple ones in bags at the bottom of the giblet pallets. Ain't nobody looking for them in there 😂😂

I only told this father and son, both Bulgarian, and two Romanian mates I made, I would go out the back and catch them raiding the stash every morning, all giggling like little girls.

But honestly, they were the only ones you could double glove and still feel the tiny feathers to pluck. Gotta look out for yourself. Found out eventually all the senior workers had their own stashes all over the plant with their names on the box in case you found it by accident 😅
