How to write a research proposal | 7 Hacks for success

Writing your PhD research proposal is an important part of convincing a research admission panel that you know exactly what you are doing. In this video we will go over the seven tricks for PhD research proposal writing and what exactly the panel needs to know from you for a successful application.
These seven writing tricks can also be applied to anyGrant application or research proposal that you write in the future.

0:49 – All of the title tricks you need to know
2:42 – put all of the important information upfront
4:17 – use simple language. If you want to check your language use use a dictation software.
6:04 – use figures and don't be worried about altering those figures to show exactly what you need them to show.
8:37 – use formatting to your advantage
10:47 – spell check and proofreading. Do not give your admissions panel any reason to reject your application.
12:10 – double the amount of time you need to submit.
