Aaron Petit is a graduate of UMiami: Frost School of Music under Santiago Rodriguez and Naoko Takao. Other teachers have included Mark Salman, Mark Westcott, Dr. Josh Wright, and Daniel Pollack.

I’m not a pianist (I play keyboard percussion) but this is super helpful advice. I often have passages where I need to play multiple voices, and while I can do it, I think I could learn music much faster with this. I’ve separated hands before, but I never thought about removing only certain voices. Thank you.
