Sunday Spin Challenge: How Hard Is It To Spin Pure Bamboo?

I'm spinning pure bamboo today AND spinning over the fold! It's a super challenge since I'm not used to either spinning pure bamboo nor spinning over the fold...but I do manage to pull it off. What do you think? I also use my spinning wheel and a drop spindle to see how I feel working with those tools.

I am loving the before THE sweater, sweater! We make this beautiful yarn with our standard being the yarn machines make. We are not machines. We have character and beautiful flaws so our yarns should reflect some of that as should our knitting. Your name in a book is exciting!

I intentionally taught myself to spin a worsted weight (vs worsted spin) from the fold due to the color combinations in the roving and its intended use. It came out awesome, so yes, while it might be hard if you are hardcore about consistency, it can be done. :)
